“The Last Summer” marks filmmaker Jonathan Landau’s 35mm directorial debut. Having first written the screenplay for “The Last Summer” in 1996, Jonathan set about gathering the resources he would need to get the film developed and financed. Currently Last Summer Productions LLC enjoys the support of over 15 private investors and is the first fully financed feature from Mr. Landau’s production company D. Productions Inc.
In 1999 “The Last Summer” took a major step forward when established Hollywood producer Terence Michael (If Lucy Fell, Chill Factor, Never Again) signed on to serve as producer for the film.
